Student publication will enhance one’s resume and is a great way to stand out of the crowd. Through my 3 years of experience as the Editor-in-chief of San Jose State University Philosophy Department’s undergraduate student journal, Geist, I have guided several clients to start their own journal while in high school or in community college. This is a great extracurricular and leadership project for anyone that has a passion in writing, and especially for those who are interested in majoring in a social science or humanities major.
Below is a listing of undergraduate student journals for high school and college students to consider if wanting to publish their own past research or term papers. Please note that these are meant for existing college students, therefore, they may or may not allow high school students to submit their papers to the journal. Make sure to inquire with the staff before doing so.
