- Scope and Term of Contract

- This is a service agreement between the client (and the client’s parent or legal guardian if paying on behalf of the client), hereafter known as CLIENT, and Bay Area College Consulting and its associates.
- Service Agreement
- A. Bay Area College Consulting will provide to the client a variety of services and consultation as requested by the client. These services may include, but not limited to, high school admission consultation, college admission consultation, essay proofreading, and tutoring services.
- The client is responsible and agrees to make a reasonable effort to implement the recommendations, expertise, and skills provided by Bay Area College Consulting.
- The parent(s) or legal guardian(s) (if paying for the client) agrees to make a reasonable effort to support, encourage, motivate, and if necessary, to help carry out the services listed above.
- Bay Area College Consulting does not and cannot guarantee that the client will gain admission into the client’s desired high schools, colleges, and/or universities as part of the high school and college admission consultation services. By proceeding with service, the client acknowledges that no such guarantee exists. The client also agrees to release Bay Area College Consulting from being accountable from any perceived wrong doing due to the lack of such a service guarantee.
- Application and comprehensive college consulting packages are available on a contract period. Client agrees to fulfill the length of the contract through monthly payments of services until the end of the contract period unless the client and Bay Area College Consulting mutually agrees to a premature service cancellation.
- Application and comprehensive packages include a set number of campus proofreading associated with the Common Application, Coalition Application, and/or “unique” applications not associated with the UC, CSU, Common, nor Coalition Application. The standard additional proofreading fee are as follows: $150 for each additional Common Application campus supplement, $250 for each additional Coalition campus supplement, and $250 for each additional “unique” application. Refer to the pricing guide for complete details of services and fees.
- In the case that the client’s assigned counselor cannot fulfill the service agreed upon in the financial agreement form, client will either receive a pro-rated refund or service will be completed by another staff member or associate of Bay Area College Consulting.
- If the contract is breached, and the above parties are not able to resolve the breach with each other, a third-party arbitrator will be required. 3. Acknowledgement:
- By purchasing and proceeding with service, the client and parent(s) (or legal guardians) acknowledge that they have read this contract in full, have had an opportunity to discuss any questions about its substance or terms with Bay Area College Consulting, and agree to abide by its terms.
